to hear Doris Day give thanks for the BIG celebration done in honor of her Birthday!! It was a "month filled" with just about, if not, every movie she had done. Mostly in the evening to be entertained all night with Doris Day Classics.She made so many movies that it went on much longer than most "Specials" and Ms.Day spoke herself about the acknowledgment and how surprised she was by it.Such humility , do I wish she had sat down and had a camera record this? yes, but there are many reasons why she may not have done this; I have no doubt that Doris Day appreciates each fan, but maybe she appreciates her privacy as well? and as a admirer of hers I believe whatever her reason, it is good enough for me, who am I to judge? and who am I to tell anyone they have to give up there privacy!!!
I wish her continued good health and enjoyment of her life and the many films she has given us to enjoy!
