Mike~

You are too, too kind, but I am hardly a pro. Have you seen Bryan's work? How about Anne? How does someone for whom English is their second language do the work that she does?

What I love is that you and others on this forum are making movies to show the world the extraordinary talents of Doris Day. Forty-three songs?!!! That is incredible!!

We need your expertise on Doris' recording career, as it is always appreciated. You remind me of the late Don Chang. Doris kissed him on the cheek at the Convention because she knew of his hard work for her. I'd like to think that she would do the same for you, Mike. Consider yourself kissed by Doris Day!! ....just sayin'.

I have some clips, but I have to correct them. For Windows Movie Maker does not need to know the English language. My first films were poor. My videos are still imperfect. I try to...

For Toby_Martin and perhaps for more fans, who don't have as much DD songs as we "old" fans have, here is a link to the site archive organisation, where you can listen to and download DD's beautiful music.

http://www.archive.org/details/DorisDay-36-100

But you must know, there are many errors on sites.
Doris didn't sing with Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Andrew sisters, Louis Armstrong, Rosemary Clooney. She didn't sing Tammy, Never on Sunday, Hernando's hideway, How much is that doggy in the window, Teach me tonight, Sisters, Love and marriage, Fascination .......

Did you check the whole history on Forum - the sections The music of Doris Day, Film & audio clips, videos
Do you visite sampod4you site ?
If you are not affraid, you may visite also The pirate bay site

If you do not realize, how many songs DD sang, you should use the beautiful Peter's list of songs, he made for the Forum and all of us fans.

And many of us are very friendly too and share the songs from our collection with other fans.

Toby~

Something that may help you is to go to the Bear Family Records and search for Doris Day. That will give you a list of everything she has recorded on each of the box sets that they sell. However, you cannot listen to anything. You can, however, print out the lists of songs for future knowledge.

This is one option, but Peter Flapper's list is much larger and includes all those songs and not released songs from radio and TV shows. It includes also many versions of the same songs. And what is on his list, he owns. There is another sorce here - The definitive Doris Day discography by Texas Gonzalo
There is another list of Columbia releases, which give you more informations about each song - writters, liricists and albums.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doris_Day_discography

But by these lists you can only see, what Doris sings, my first information brings you downloadable or recordable music.
