The 2nd pic (above) is the outfit in the current Forum [at 21 April] that Meagan thought was from Pillow Talk.

I like this thread because Doris Day was [and is] a screen fashion icon - even before the high chic of Pillow Talk and beyond - certainly from Young at Heart to Teacher's Pet (1950s period) followed by the high fashion years (1959-65); then the hip years [1966-].

Thanks Jas for sharing your enthousiasm.Doris had of course an immaculate figure throughout her career and beyond and designers were lucky I think to have these outfits worn by Doris,like here in Pillow Talk,by Jean Louis.He also designed the great dress in The thrill of it all

Thanks Jas,so many nice pictures of Doris in glorious clothes.Here is the beautiful dress by Edith Head she wore in TMWKTM.I love the bouncy style,but hen again,this designer made some stunning robes for like Audrey Hepburn,Grace Kelly,many famous women of the screen

Yes that haircut [D/A] started a whole trend in Hollywood with everyone from Liz Taylor to Ginger Rogers; Lana Turner and Jane Russell following suit!

Quite like the look of this in Donot Disturb.Doris was happy with the outfits she said in an interview with Lucille Ball,designed by Ray Aghayan.

Yes, that gold dress from Do Not Disturb is fab, however, when doing 10 [actually 11]- something's gota give!

I truly believe Doris Day is a screen fashion icon, certainly from Calamaity Jane on and particularly during the high fashion years from Pillow Talk onwards. She has worn so many fabulous outfits for the screen making it almost impossible to narrow down favourites.
