Amy Winehouse RIP

I was absolutely shocked to hear of the death of Amy Winehouse at only 27 years of age.

Her demons and addictive personality unfortunately overtook her talent.

I know there is debate about Amy's talents but I personally loved her voice and loved the fact that her sound (whether covering classics or on new material) evoked an earlier age. She does a fab 'Moody's mood for love.'

Anyhow, no matter what, her time came too soon and I just wished to express sincere condolonces to her family and friends.

I was shocked too, and shocked at all the attacks she received when she had just passed away.
I really don't like her first album, not my cuppa, but her second is great

I love both her albums and particularly the first one, isn't it strange? Goes back to Shakesphere and Doris' book that nothing is really good or bad but thinking makes it so!
