I hadn't seen the pic (above) of Doris and Marty - there were obviously a lot of good fun times too! Think I read somewhere that Marty [usually] didn't photograph well - the above pic is maybe how me looked more than the usual pics - in the pic above he looks like the tall smiling partner Doris deserved [physically] at least.

I quite like the shoes Jas.Doris has lovely feet if you compare them for instance with Marilyn Monroe's...

I like the shoes too Dorine- just quoting what it says on the bill board. From memory we don't get to see the shoes in the scene where Doris wears this dress in Young at Heart-[must check] - this is the scene where Laurie sits beside Barney as he sings 'Someone to watch over me'.

Thanks for these. The woman standing with Jack Benny doesn't really look like Doris to me and neither does the woman getting out of the car. Just sayin'.

It is correct that the top photos look to be from "Lucky Me." Doris with the elephants might have something to do with "Jumbo." The one with the group looks to be at an Actors and Others for Animals event. The one where Lucy showed up.

That's Doris with Jack Benny and Art Linkletter. The photo was taken at a party where Doris also posed with her old Cincinnati neighbor, Vera Ellen. And that picture of her being helped out of the car looks to me like the outfit she wore for the "Teacher's Pet" premiere.

Esther was similar looking to Doris- albeit with dark hair. She is still with us= at 90 and says she still swims= great!

I love this playful photo of Doris and Marty . They were really cute togeather. They were also very close and seemed to enjoy alot of the same things . I know someone who knew Marty and that person said that Marty was actually very handsome in person and had a build very much like Rock Hudson . ( some people do not always photograph well and he was one of them ) .
