For me there's a kind of 'where can I take this Doris thing'? Do we have much more to say or share about her? It sort of feels we've covered everything. Or maybe that's just a temporary feeling that will pass - I haven't felt it before.
I was watching the Queen on the river for her Diamond Jubilee yesterday and found myself saying "Her hats are amazing - a bit like the hats Doris Day used to wear!" Slight exaggeration but some truth in it.

Hello Howard.. you have just put my thoughts...thank you MMhoward wrote:That goes double for me. I visit quite regularly, and it always helps to brighten my day. This is a wonderful web site, a great source of information for those interested to learn about DD's remarkable career(s), and it would leave me with an empty feeling if it were ever gone. I know we DD fans appreciate all the hard work you have put, and continue to put into it. Can't say THANK YOU enough!

She is magic,,,and you are magic too..thank youAll Doris All Day wrote:Bryan,
The work you've done on Doris' behalf has brought so much joy to so many people! Words can't express the gratitude that all of us feel. Doris - and what she stands for - inspires each of us every day. I encourage you to stay involved in the "magic" that the Universe has brought us through Doris. I agree with Michael that there is much more to come and more joy to share.
Cheers,
Lloyd

thank you dear..I feel the same LOVE Mray wrote:Come on people have a sense of humor!!! Doris does!!! Rewatched the fifth season of The Doris Day Show and it was really very good. Many shows were bright and witty. Don't mean to be critical but that ineterview with Doris on her favorite shows was terrible. The people in charge of the recent phone interviews had Doris perky and talkative. On the fifth season thing seemed like they were sleeping through it. Also the misinformation that the children were away so Doris could have romantic interests was confusing and wrong for the four and fifth season. Que Sera.... Doris was classy and sexy in the modeling shots.
