Re: Memories from Cincinnati days

I read all of them. They all seem to confirm that Doris was a wonderful person (which we already knew). Some of them confirm that her age is 84. Just a little more insight about the person we know as Doris Day.

Re: The Doris Day Story - by her fans

But before that happened Doris decided to give love another chance. Doris fell in love and married another musician, George Weidler in 1946. By all accounts George was a nice guy, but at a time when GIs were coming home and getting jobs, he was struggling to support himself, Doris and her young son ...

Re: What movie did Miss Day have best hairdo

Doris is a beautiful woman. I liked her hair best in Midnight Lace , Julie, Pillow Talk and many of her other films. I don't think that her hair cuts in Romance on the High Seas , Tea for Two or LOB were as flattering, but I love those films just the same. WSYGE, I didn't like the dark roots, but I'...

Re: Doris and Oprah

Love the new banner and and the new avatars, Bryan and Babe. Is this story really true? My feeling is that Doris is 84 and has a right to her own privacy. A long time ago I heard that Doris stopped making public appearances because fans expected her to look like she did in the movies. She still sees...

Re: What attracted you to Doris Day

I saw her when I was a young child and I'd have to say I liked her because she was so funny. I'm sure that her beauty and talent also added to it.

Re: Where Were You When the Lights Went Out?

I agree with all of you. It far from being her best film, but it does have Doris in it! I think the writer thought it was funny that Doris' husband had a double standard. Since I put WWYWTLWO on youtube, so many people have thanked me, because they have never seen it before. Some of them said that t...

Cary was really good in Penny Serenade but it was so sad :(

Have you ever seen him in Sylvia Scarlet? I think he steals the picture away from Kate.

That 1st picture is an odd one, Puck. What stars have to do in the name of cinematography.
