Re: Films That Never Were

I would loved to have seen her in the TV show, "Murder, She Wrote" - I think she would have been great in that. 8) I agree! Doris would have been great in that show. I love that show, and Angela was great, but if it was Doris in her role I think it would have been even better. Everybody has their o...

Re: name doris' best ever performance

It's tough to choose just a few, but this is what I think she was perfection in:
-Pillow Talk
-Lover Come Back
-Love Me or Leave Me
-Teacher's Pet
-Move Over Darling

And so many more...but those are a few standouts.

Re: Four years....

I'm a little late, but I just wanted to express my sympathy for Doris. It must be so hard to lose a child, I've heard that it is the worst kind of heartache that someone can have. Nobody deserves that pain, especially not Doris. My prayers and thoughts are with her this week. :(

Re: Move Over Darling

This is one of my favorites!! That Swedish nurse scene is hilarious! And I love the ending: "Hi Mommy!" Oh my gosh, my eyes got kind of teary during the end. The scene where she's driving the car around and ends up in the car wash is hilarious too. I can't add much more to what you all have said. :D...

Lady Be Good?

Under the Doris Day tv listings, there is some movie called Lady Be Good, and I looked it up, and Doris Day is listed as a debutante (uncredited). However, this Doris Day is apparently a different Doris Day from the one we all know and love....http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0206382/. :?
Weird, huh?

Hi there!

:D Hi everyone! My name is Nicki, and I'm 16 years old from New York. I'm new on this forum. I'm a really big fan of Doris Day! I have been enamored with her ever since I saw her in Lover Come Back last June. I guess I'm a relatively new fan, but I love her just the same! My favorite Doris film is P...
