From the other ones I have seen so far

Pillow Talk
The Thrill of it All
and Love me or Leave me

are way up the list. LMOLM mainly because of the wonderful music.

I love most of her movies. "Julie" really wasn't that well made, but with Doris Day in it, it was enjoyable to watch. However, I would rank a good movie by the ability to start watching it anywhere during the movie. My kids love the comedy movies, so I'll rank them according to their preference:

1. Lover Come Back
2. Move Over Darling
3. Pillow Talk
4. Young At Heart
5. The Man Who Knew Too Much

Yahoo...My favorite #1 Lover Come Back. Like your choices.
I do like The Thrill of It All and Move Over, Darling probably in your 4th and 5th picks.

1. Glass Bottom Boat (still and forever will be I think)
2. With 6 you get eggrole
3. Send me no flowers
4. It happened to Jane
5. Move over Darling
6. Lover come back

it's likely to be changed again though
OKAY I definitely and officially need to add "Please don't eat the daisies" and "I'll see you in my dreams" to my list - the first one I forgot earlier *shame on me* and the second I've watched not to long ago for the first time and just LOVED it :D

Never thought about ranking her movies in order, but here goes..It is difficult to do because I like so many of them equally, and for different time periods. But..taken as a body of work:

1. LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME....definitely her BEST film (best acting/ best singing/ best looking, etc)
2. ROMANCE ON THE HIGH SEAS....her first, got me hooked right at the start
3. MY DREAM IS YOURS......her second, kept me right in her ball park. LOVED LOVED THIS MOVIE.
Then it gets iffy. GREAT FEELING was silly.
4. TEA FOR TWO (and all the others which featured DoDo and Mr. MacRae........good old fashioned family comedy musical and her beginning with Gordon MacRae...and she was with him in more films than any other costar.)
5. PILLOW TALK/LOVER COME BACK...the ones with Rock but NOT FLOWERS.
5. TIED. PAJAMA GAME....her only Broadway Musical on film (not counting JUMBO). And there should have been many, many more: SOUND OF MUSIC UNSINKABLE SOUTH PACIFIC GUYS & DOLLS ...etc, etc starring Doris

hmm.... I probably shouldn't rank the movies either ....
except for THE GLASS BOTTOM BOAT which is and always will be my favorite and No.1 - no matter how many movies I haven't seen yet  The rest of them are just runner ups and really depend on my mood which one I like best that day :D

My list is nearly the same as Marion's except - I would replace TTOIA with "My dream is yours"

1. Pillow Talk
2. Move Over Darling
3. Lover Come Back

Those are my top three, but lately I've been really into Teacher's Pet, Calamity Jane, The Thrill of It All, and April in Paris. The ones I watch most often change from day to day though, haha. It depends on what I feel like watching. I love them all, the rest of the movies come really close to these three. :D
