I'LL Never Stop Loving You

Unread post by ray »

I'll Never Stop Loving You, that beautiful song that Doris sang in LOve Me Or Leave Me, says how I feel about Doris now and forever. Hope everyone is well, I am hanging in there. Ray:)

Hi Ray

I thought you must have had an alien encounter - we were just looking at the time you danced with Doris:

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2460

Maybe you should write a book about it.

"Doris Day: The Untold Story of My Dance with Her", "Doris Day: Reluctant Dancer", "Doris Day: A Step at a Time", "Doris Day: Considering Dancing"... any more?

Seriously, it's nice that you've said hello again. (Wonder where Steven is?) This forum is like the Biblical quote about planting seeds... 'and many shall fall by the wayside'. Perhaps they should have tried the waltz rather than the tango? (No, I don't know what I mean either.)

Actually, come to think of it, dancing was Doris' first love. What if that car accident hadn't happened? She might just have been another Vera Ellen/Ann Miller - wonderful dancers but mostly seen as dancers.

Yes... the first and best... "Doris Day: Her Own Dance."

I've thought about that too, Bryan. All the what-if's in a life. But, thankfully, we got her dancing and her other talents too.
