I missed it all Howard - did anyone apart from Marion record it?

The question Doris was asked about 'her show' - I'm not surprised she didn't understand - he forget to say it was her RADIO show, back in 1952.

Last year it took a few days for the station to put the whole show up to listen to again, didn't it?

I recorded a great deal of it, but had to stop some moments to save it in my computer, so I lost some people. I lost the call of the boy who were her son in the series - forgot his name. I'll check it all up and see if it all recorded properly. I think I have your message recorded, Samantha!

It was a restful and fun trip. The travel part was the most tiring, but very much worth the trip!
I hope to go back next year! I was asked by some of the Cypress staff to bring my flute and play Doris tunes. How fun that would be. People can sing along!

I'm afraid I had a huge problem with my computer and it ended up dying on me altogether and I'm just so disappointed, was so looking forward to hearing everything. Heard half of Doris' first call in and thought she sounded wonderful, I'm so happy about that. I too have a bit of a beef about Ed the DJ - I think his 'sometimers' has turned into something more serious!! I think he was much worse than he was last year, he was annoying me so much!! However I'm sure someone will post the 2 callins some time and I'll be able to pick it up when I get another computer - I'm dying to hear it all!! I'm just sorry I missed the call ins from the fans and other people like Chris Botte and of course her beautiful music.

Thank you Bryan and Marion to posting the calls for us, I did have problems with my pc, I could't hear anything.
Now I did download all the 6 parts of Magic63, and wow her voice sounds great !!

I just wish to add my thanks to Bryan and Marion for allowing us to hear Doris [albeit not live]: doesn't she sound superb? It really does my heart good to hear her in such good form and even singing several times and sounding fantastic!

Can anyone update us which celebrities called in, I think Tony Bennett did; would love to hear what he said.

All in all, a wonderful 'Day'!

Tony Bennett was about as exciting on the phone as he was when he gave the Lifetime Grammy Award to Doris....borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrringggg! There is no vitality, no excitement in his voice AT ALL. I don't understand what all the teeny boppers see in him. Now his drawings...that is a different story.
Probably the best call in (from my point of view) was from the guy who played her son on the tv show. He was delightful, respectful, in honor of and awed by Doris, as he should be, as we all are, I bet she would have loved to have HIM as her grandson ...[edited by Theodomus - No personal things on here, Mikey]

You must not have a media player, it's working fine for me. I'm pretty sure if you just download windows media player it should work great for you.
