The latest is that the special Birthday program for Doris on the former Magic 63 will not be streamed via internet. Hopefully, they will send a link as in the past.

That is the update on Doris Day Tribute. It is disappointing that we won't be able to hear it live, but I don't think this is the first year that it has happened. It will be a thrill to hear her anyway; I know next year is a concern, because her birthday will not fall on a weekend.

Doris Day - Sunday, April 3rd: This fantastic lady, who usually stays as far away from the spotlight as possible, has confirmed that she will "call in" to the local Monterey Bay radio station that traditionally honors her every year on her birthday with hours of music, fan calls, and tribute. This year's broadcast will be the 5th annual Doris Day Birthday Celebration, and will run from 8am-12pm Pacific Standard Time on KIDD 630-AM.

A group of fans had a birthday dinner last night at Cafe Stravaganza which is one of Doris' personal favorites. The owner, Harry, served all of her favorites dishes and they were delicious. He really went all out for the fans who were there. As you can probably tell, the theme was a "Jumbo!" tribute.

Below, Lloyd, Renny and Howard (all forum members) at the Jumbo! party last night. Lloyd hosted the dinner and put all of the pictures and party favors together.

Aren't they sweet! Thanks for sharing guys and thanks for sending, Michael - much appreciated.

Give our love to Doris if you bump into her.

Carmel is 8 hours ahead from London and 9 hours ahead from Paris, so when it is 10pm in London it is 2pm in Carmel.

Yes, for 2.5 hours now. It has interviews, music, e-mails, phone calls, a quiz... I enjoy it very much. And how nice it was to hear Nada's e-mail during the broadcast!
