I wish "Pillow Talk" was on this fabulous list.
This is one of her best. I'm so happy though they are celebrating Doris as the star on the month in April.
A nice birhtday celebration.

Just received the latest copy of TCM's monthly magazine called "Now Playing." Here's the back cover. (Love the photo of DD. I think that was her best look.)

Thanks for the upload, Howard. I love that look also. I think it was called the "Bubble" because of the bangs on top. Comcast took TCM off of my package so that I have to pay more to get it now. I'm so happy about the numerous Doris movies that will be shown during the month of April.

TCM's "Now Playing" magazine has just been released. Since DD will be Star of the Month in April, she gets the cover and a nice tribute by Robert Osbourne.

Howard, thanks so much for posting this article!! Robert Osborne has always been very complimentary of our Doris, and this article is a lovely tribute to her.

I own almost all of Doris' movies (I'm only missing "Where Were You...", and "Julie"), so I am lucky enough to be able to sit down and enjoy a little time with Doris whenever I please; but I am thrilled that others, who may not know about our Doris, will be able to watch her every night on TCM for an entire week! I can't wait for April!!! :)

Hope you're having a lovely "Day"! :)

God Bless,
Rachel

A little bird tells me Doris has recorded a new interview with Robert Osborne that will air on TCM during the week of her birthday tribute.

That is fantastic news!! My cable line up with Comcast no longer has TCM on it, so I'll miss it. I hope someone can tape it and pass it on.

I'm hearing it will air on her birthday but I cannot confirm this. I am also guessing she will be heard but not seen. If I hear anything more definite, I will update everyone.

Cheers,

Aw since I'm a new TCM subscriber they will only start by sending me the June mag when it comes out. That's a shame! It really looks beautiful!

I have some new information about the TCM tribute. They've put together a mini-documentary that Doris narrates. The documentary is scheduled to run several times over the next few days as shown below. I do not know which time zone these are, nor I could find any more information on the TCM website. If anyone can find that out, it would be helpful.

Here you go:
(Note: the term "cutdown" means a shortened version)

3/28
6:48am (cutdown)
8:50am
4:53pm (cutdown)

3/29
3:03am (cutdown)
9:48am
6:51pm

3/30
10:18am (cutdown)
3:21pm
6:50pm (cutdown)
10:51pm (cutdown)

3/31
2:21am

Enjoy!
