New Johnny Carson interview?

I came across this topic of Johnny Carson and DD discussing something I don't remember ever being discussed on any of the interviews I've seen sniplets of with DD on the JC show. Does anyone remember this topic? Found it in a search of DD in the LA Times site. I hope it's not something that's going to embarass DD or put her in a bad light. Intriguing indeed!

Oh come on, its 2012 and Doris is certainly not a prude. They were talking about an adult topic in a lighthearted way and Doris looked mighty sexy in a tight fitting long dressey pants suit. Glad that interview will see the light of day again, Doris looked smashing then in 1974 as she always did. Great idea with these Carson interviews.

The interview mentioned is the 2nd one Doris did with Carson - it is very funny - and she is wearing a salmon pink long dress with short jacket in the same colour - her hair is longer and tied back in a scarf of the same colour - she looks amazing. Following her was Rex Reid who was so complimentary about her films, her book, and the lady herself!

OK, so this is when she was promoting her book and somehow they got on the topic of softcore films. If I remember correctly, Carson suggested she watch a film called Emmanuelle which he thought was several cuts above the hardcore variety. There was nothing offensive about the exchange, just playful banter back and forth. I liked their chemistry together.

Michael, you are absolutely correct - Carson talked about liking soft porn a la Emannuel and it was all light hearted banter. As I said, I particularly love how Rex Reed is with Doris - he sells the book (which as we know is not needed) but he does so with sincerity and passion explaining this was no ordinary autobiography but a journal of survival and strength - as well as incredible talent.
