Very nice interview. I'm amazed at her comment about dropping by the Cypress Inn more often. That should give occupancy rates a hearty boost.

While I'd love to believe the bit about Doris calling in to Cyprus Inn more often and not being annoyed with photos being taken - I don't think it will happen - unfortunately. Doris has been saying she wanted to make another film or TV show since the 1980s and lines like "I'm a late bloomer..." and "the best is yet to come..."- it never has [sadly for us]!

I have no doubt it is her intention - [the new films and now the Inn] - however, the babies will get in the way- and who can blame her for putting off other things to concentrate on her one true passion?

And 5 dogs? Wow. You know, if any other person said they had 5 dogs, you'd think, "Why so many?" Only with Doris would you think, "Just 5?"

And hearing Doris talk about getting a computer! That would be wild!

Five dogs is more than enough for Doris, anymore would not be healthy. And we may see her at the Cypress Inn again after all!! A visit there with Betty White, Tony Bennet and a short song and dance with Dick Van Dyke. Fairy tales do come true, when your Young At Heart!!
