Doris' Birthday Celebration

Just wondering if there has been any news of plans for her birthday gathering this year in Carmel. Is it still on? If it is, what things are planned?

I've just confirmed that I'll be attending (whatever there is to attend!). Hope to meet some of you there!
Also hope to see a fan dinner at Stravaganza! The one that happened previously looks like it was a lot of fun! I hope fans out there share information of what's going on if they hear something!

My partner and I plan to be there. I feel sure the hotel will do something to honor her birthday. In recent years, Jim Martinez and vocalist Laura Didier have performed her songs in the great room of the hotel.

I'd love to attend... I envy that they you all can meet and celebrate birthdays Doris in Carmel. My dream someday drive over to Carmel, personally meet Doris... I hope that an account of the events will be released online forum... Photos, maybe some video? This is a wonderful day, I'll watch movies and listen to recordings of Doris and probably I'll drink to the health of Doris Although it is not the same as meeting fans Doris in Carmel:( This will be my day with Doris, her films, recordings, and anything related to Doris:)

You guys are really lucky- I feel like Doris said in an interview when she was travelling to Carmel every weekend and was sad to leave on a Monday and she'd see the locals at the supermarket and say to herself "you lucky..you really lucky.." [ to be there/ stay there]!

What are you wild and crazy guys and gals doing now? Keep the forum posted! Doris usuallly doesn't have a house filled just for her birthday. Must be the 35th year animal celebration. You go gurl!!

I sent Bryan a couple of pics from last night to post on the forum. A small group had dinner together at Cafe Stravanganza in Carmel Valley. This is one of Doris' favorite restaurants and she orders take out from them often. Harry, the owner, said he would call and tell her we were in town for her birthday.
