Doris Recording new show on XM Simply Sinatra

Apparently Doris is going to record a show with Nancy Sinatra to air on the channel that honors her father and other great singers of his time. Don't know when it'll air, but the program is called "Nancy For Frank." It's a 3 hour long program where Nancy picks out some of her favorite songs by Frank and others and talks a bit about them. I'll update when I find out more information.

Oh, I hope this is accurate. Huge Sinatra fan and I'll even admit to loving some of Nancy's recordings too. Please keep us posted.

I've been a part of Nancy's website for a couple years now and she just told us about it!! I'm sooooo excited!!!!

It should be airing this coming Sunday. This week is a repeated show all new ones are played on Sunday night and then repeated during the week.

Did anyone record the broadcast and will post it to the Forum? We who don't live in USA are in different time zones and will be more than happy, if we get the recorded broadcast.

This was posted today on Nancy's site.

"Nancy recorded a wonderful interview with the legendary singer and actress Doris Day this week, and due to some technical issues we needed to reschedule the interview on the day we were slated to record this week's show. So, we decided to offer an "encore" of Show 205 this week, and bring you a new show next week.

The Doris Day interview will likely air in multiple parts, at some time in the near future. We'll keep everyone posted so they can tune in!

Any word on the Sinatra radio interview? Things like this seem to always happen like the Good Morning America show a few years back when it was announced to be aired then came up days later

Nothing new on Nancy's Twiiter and Facebook pages and she updates both of them frequently. Hoping we will get a firm air date soon though.

Has anyone heard anything more about this? Supposedly, Nancy taped the interview with Doris weeks ago but there is still no broadcast date. Very odd.

If Marty Melcher where still around Doris would follow through on projects. If Doris didn't have Marty would she have been like Marilyn and Judy with not compeleting projects???

Interestingly, Doris apparently had "technical problems" when calling in to the Cypress on her birthday and "technical problems" again during the Sinatra interview. Perhaps Doris needs to call in the screw-driver guys for a look-see at her phone system.

As Lauren pointed out, I too recall hearing something about technical problems. Maybe that was posted on Nancy's FB / Twitter pages. Starting to think this may not happen after all.

I was under the impression that it's already been taped. Her programmer said it was so long that it'd have to be split up into multiple shows...

fyi: The show is taped and completed. It is expected to run sometime in June and probably in 3 episodes. That is definite information. I will let you know more as soon as I get the word.
