Thank you.

Finding it hard to feel excited about 2015 so far - dull and damp in London - and sounds like serious cold weather in the USA. Hope everyone is okay.

This banner brings back fond memories for me since this was the first Doris Day album I purchased. Also I saw "Love Me Or Leave" at a sneak preview and that resulted in my becoming a long life fan of Miss Day. There is one thing about this photo that has always intriqued me. Do not know if this has been spotted before, but the image was reversed when used as the cover for the "Love Me Or Leave Me" long playing album. The album released in UK has the proper positioned image.
Happy Days, Texas Gonzalo

Lovely banner Barbara from a pic taken on January 14, 1965, Rod's 35th birthday on the set of "Do Not Disturb". The picture says it beautifully.

Although Mr. Taylor's actual date of birth was January 11, I am assuming they marked the date on the set on a different day, thus the caption below the picture:

Rod Taylor, Australian movie star, celebrates his 35th birthday by working on the set of 'Do Not Disturb,' and gets a big birthday kiss from co-star Doris Day on Jan. 14, 1965. (Photo: Don Brinn, AP)

Thanks Paul, for your information on this picture. I knew it was from "Do Not Disturb" but didn't know that Doris was giving Rod a kiss in celebration of his 35th birthday on the set. So sad, when I was adding color to this photo, I was thinking, that she is having to kiss another Co star goodbye.
I think there are only two of her Co stars that are still living, Kirk Douglas 99 years old, and Louis Jourdan 93.
Yes it is true, she made the statement that she had the "Cream of the crop" in co-stars.
Thanks Bryan for always giving the banners that special touch.

RIP Rod. Like Doris, you loved your work.

Thanks Barbara. Just wanted to make my own little tribute:

I'm sure Doris will have something to say. I've always liked Rod Taylor since I first saw him in The Time Machine - he was also great in The VIPS with Maggie Smith and Taylor & Burton.
