Yes, definitely - (I know it looks a bit like Ginger Rogers but it's not!) I've changed the original image to black and white and lightened it a bit but it is one of her films. I'll upload it later.

Looks as though the photo is reversed and that she's wearing a wedding ring. On that assumption, I'm going to guess that it's either from "I'll See You in My Dreams" or "The Winning Team."

Engagement rings have not noticed, I have poor eyesight. My eyes in the evening is already very tired. Perhaps one of these two films?

"My Dream Is Yours" I guessed, I thought that no one would write and I will be the first  I knew from the beginning, but I was not quite sure... I wrote "Young at Heart" Unfortunately I amblyopia, I'm too weak glasses, many of the details of the photos have not noticed...
In this film, Doris looks like an angel, which came down from heaven to earth.

I'm really enjoying these quizzes. Had to really put my thinking cap on for some of the answers. In the meantime, I've come up with some new ones. In what movie did Doris Day skillfully avoid possible "wardrobe malfunctions" twice and during which two song and dance numbers? And, in what other movie did she almost drop a bunch of letters but smoothly recovered so that you barely notice?

With regard to the picture of the woman lying in bed with the pillow over her head...I think it was Howard that asked if that was really Doris. I had the same question. So, I got out my copy of "My Dream Is Yours" and watched it again just now. That woman is Eve Arden. It's the first night that Doris' character stays in Eve's character's apartment. There are twin beds. Doris is in the one on our left wearing white pajamas, loudly crunching on an apple. Eve is in the bed on our right wearing blue pajamas with white piping around the arm, pillow over her head to block out the noise Doris is making, and wearing the fancy ring on her right hand. I couldn't tell for sure from the black and white version of the picture first posted but when the color pictures were posted and then I watched the movie, the colors of the pajamas told the story.

She still looks like her to me! Eve Arden looks older. And why would she be in Doris' bed? :) Unless they had separate identical beds!

Here's a couple of 'rings photos' - do they make it any clearer to you, Renie?

It really helps to look at the movie. There are identical twin beds. Doris' bed is to our left and Eve's is to our right. There is no scene where Doris puts a pillow over her head. Doris has no ring on her right hand and Eve does have. And the color of their respective pajamas is important re: who is in what bed.

Okay, thanks Renie. I haven't seen the film for a long time. Apologies for getting it wrong - but we got there in the end.

This is a difficult one - nothing comes to mind - can you give us a clue?

OK. Here are some clues. In the one movie where Doris comes close to 2 possible clothing mishaps her father is a stamp collector and they live right next to a railroad track. One clothing thing was in a song/dance number with just her male costar and the other was with a large group of people up on a platform. I think both of these numbers can be found on YouTube.

The second movie where Doris almost dropped some letters was one in which she was both married and not married at the same time and as a married lady, she over tipped. I think this scene can only be found in the movie itself but it's fairly close to the beginning.

The clues point to the two obvious films--"The Pajama Game" and "Move Over Darling."

It's "Pajama Game" for sure, but I think the other is "Romance on the High Seas" because there are a couple of bits of dialogue that talk about her character over-tipping.

Well, thanks to Texas Gonzalo and Musiclover, we now have the names of the 2 movies referred to in my quiz.
They are Pajama Game and Romance on the High Seas.

Pajama Game--still looking for the names of the 2 song/dance numbers in which Doris took care to avoid clothing issues. Any thoughts on these? One number was done with Doris and John Raitt only and the other was with a large group up on a wooden platform.

Romance on the High Seas--When Doris has boarded the ship and Janis Paige is in her room giving her last minute instructions about how Elvira Kent should behave, Janis gives Doris some letters she has already written to her husband and instructs Doris to mail them along the way. In the process, Doris drops one letter in her lap but quickly gathers the rest of them up in her hands. It's all so natural you miss it unless you're really looking for it.
