Thanks Bryan and Howard for linking this to the DD forum. I was a small part in assisting Melinda put this show together. I have seen it four times now and it is the most spectacular tribute to one of the world's most beloved stars of all time. Melinda has put together a fully comprehensive story in words and music of Doris' life...warts and all! She is a multi-talented performer who deserves to have this show travel overseas to both Vegas and the UK and receive the recognition of being the best ever tribute show on this living legend. In fact, all DD fans worldwide deserve the chance to see this show. It is NOT a simple cabaret act of a performer in front of a microphone stand. This show includes full orchestra, staging designs to suit the appropriate song settings, two male singer/dancers, fabulous costumes and even a couple of doggies!!! The show has enjoyed sellout performances all around Australia. Let's hope someone picks up the option and produces this show overseas .....you all NEED to see and enjoy it!!
