Barbara has left the forum - oh pants! We wish her good fortune but when you've been here as long as some of us you get used to it. People come, people go but as long as Doris is still here the forum will still be here.

It's not always easy to keep going - none of us are perfect but we still try, and Doris is worth the effort.

Valentine's Day is almost over so here's a quick new banner, now that the love is yesterday.

Sorry to hear about Barbara - but yes- que sera sera - and the one thing I've tried to learn more and more in life is not to get too sensitive about things- [if the pants issue is the issue].

I really love Doris' clothes in Romance on the High Seas - especially the fabulous [more casual] outfits/ trousers etc - though all of the clothes in this film were top notch [in my opinion].

I would like to take a moment to say thank you to Barbara for the many beautiful and creative banners of Doris she posted. I really enjoyed seeing them. It is clear that Barbara is a devoted Doris Day fan. I also thought her posts were most thoughtful and kind. I will miss her. I do hope she will want to return to this wonderful forum one day.

The new banner gives a real radiance to Doris. It may be my eyes but it appears that Doris' eyes look brown to me and I find this distracting. Pink is definitely a great colour for Doris.
