Bryan, I LOVE this banner! It shows that there was more to this relationship than just co-stars in a film. You can see that they are great friends. I love how they feel at ease with each other. I can tell that they were having such fun. Thank you for sharing this sweet banner.

Thank you both.
You can see the star quality and the friendship between them in that photo, can't you? I just wish they'd made a few more films together - like Tracy and Hepburn or, as Judy mentioned, Myrna Loy and William Powell in 'The Thin Man' series.
Doris and Rock both made similar films with other people, Rock with Gina Lollobrigida (Come September) and Doris with Richard Harris (Caprice). Both lacked the easy repertoire that existed between Doris and Rock. Not to mention that Tony Randall wasn't around. But that's life!

Here you are, Jas, just for you! I think this is the one you mean - posted by Peter (thanks).

I had to alter it a bit to remove the marks.

Thank you so much for this amazing banner!
Re: Doris Day Forum Banners 2016
This photo was part of a series to promote Pillow Talk and I think it's a superb shot. Does anyone know who took these photos? The quality is right up there with the likes of Milton Greene and Leo Fuchs.

Can't help you there, Michael. Usually you can right click an image and select 'Search Google for image', which often gives you the info you need, but I had no luck with that one.
I did notice it was taken from Doris' so-called 'bad side' (the left) and I thought it looked pretty good to me!
Here's another from Peter:

First version below but I preferred the one above:

Thanks Ania! Re your question, in that case I used the blur tool in Photoshop which acts like an eraser. You can also use the clone tool to copy a clear part of the image to where the writing is.

Another great banner, Bryan. Looks like she's really enjoying herself. Re: the previous banner, I agree -- both sides of Doris's face have always looked just fine to me!

Thank you all for your kind and heartfelt comments. I like the fact that we all seem to be naturally modest and want to give credit to others, but we all play an equal part in keeping this forum going.
Not many stars inspire such loyalty and it's a great tribute to Doris that we are all still here and still going strong. Thank you all very much.

Re: Doris Day Forum Banners 2016
It must be difficult and require a lot of skill to create the dreamy quality this photo conveys. Kudos to the gifted Puck for making another magical image for us to enjoy.
I wanted to add that this forum, under Bryan's talented and grounded direction, continues to be a reliable and comforting refuge in a nutty world. The depth and scope of historical information here exceeds anything else I've encountered on the Internet. Facebook and other social media apps devoted to Doris are fine and they offer fans convenient ways to post photos and provide brief comments. But I always come here first when I want substantive discussion or want to research a Doris related topic.
Thank you, Bryan and my fellow board members!

Thank you Michael for your comments on the forum, Puck and me! Appreciate that - you're like a pot-bellied stove on a frosty morning!
(Good job I'm not prone to getting a swelled head, or take myself too seriously!)
I think there is less distraction on a forum than say Facebook. And a better chance to get to know people - I still don't know many of the people I'm 'friends' with on FB but I know everyone on here - I feel, anyway.
My ambition is to keep going as long as Doris is with us, so hopefully we've got many years together ahead.
