Re: Doris Day Forum Banners 2017
Doris' smile is as radiant in black and white photos as it is in colour. I really like seeing banners of Doris dancing. Sometimes it seems her brilliant dancing skills as in Lullaby of Broadway, can be overshadowed by her superior skills as an actress and singer.
Thank you for this beautiful banner. It looks like this photo could be from Lucky Me.

Johnny- I'd say the current banner is from around the time of April in Paris.
Re: Doris Day Forum Banners 2017
Yes, I thought her face (and hair) were a bit fuller in "Lucky Me".

Re: Doris Day Forum Banners 2017
Hi Bryan,
Great banner with a photo from 1949 from The Bob Hope Show in Nashville.

"Pictured from left to right: Doris Day with two entertainers (the right one is Bob Hope), at an event in Nashville Tennessee. Bob Hope brought his revue of outstanding stage artists for two shows Sunday January 16th, 1949 at the Ryman Auditorium, with featured singer Doris Day. Other stars with the Hope company included a troupe of 40 radio stars and musicians. When Bob Hope’s plane arrived at Berry Field, they were met at the airport by Mayor Thomas L. Cummings and other officials. Hope received a special welcome to Nashville with keys to the city...."

Bryan,
This Doris Day banner is absolutely beautiful. Thank you.
Doris is wearing white which compliments the soft greens and corals. Doris expression is direct and thoughtful.
I think of spring when I look at this banner.
Peter, another terrific photo!

Thanks Johnny - and thanks Peter for identifying the photo. Her hair looks blonde in the B&W pic with Bob Hope - hard to recognise him there at first!

Beautiful banner from around the LMOLM time.
Re: Doris Day Forum Banners 2017
Doris' beauty mark says it all, thanks for another vibrant Doris Day banner.
The intense blue compliments her eyes and the long silver earrings give her a look of sophistication.

She does makes you feel Spring is near, and her warm smile, makes this bad world, a brighter.

What a fun Calamity Jane banner!
The makeover on the cabin was more than a woman's touch, it was a musical miracle.
Thank you.

Ania, email me the avatar - or change the width to maximum 150 pixels, (height is max 200px) that should fix it.
