Love your banner Bryan, sorry for being absent but did need time to heal, do love what you have done with the image, love it, I still do create image, but recover my passion again for painting, so do more others things, but Doris will always be in my heart forever. And I will still keep create image of her, but not as the old days.
Thank you all, love you all, Doris didn’t create only music and films, but a great family around her, we love her so much.

Thanks, guys! Don't know if you've noticed the dog between them? :) It's slightly camouflaged but they are both touching it.

Thank you Ania and Bryan for this classic Doris and Terry photo.

The expression on Doris' face while she is gazing up at Terry is filled with mother love and wonder.

Just beautiful!

This Doris banner Captured In Time - A Mother's Love is perhaps the most beautiful and moving banner that has been posted. I love everything about it. The black and white photo is classic.

Thank you again to Ania and Bryan.

Yes, sweet Puck! Going to be using some of yours over the holiday period.

Here's a new one from an image that Peter Flapper uploaded.

Hard to believe this was taken 60 years ago!

Another version.

Howard, are you still not seeing banner changes? Clearing your browser history should do it, as I said (last 24 hours) go to Settings in your browser and click History or similar.

That "Pillow Talk" photo is one of my all-time favorites, Bryan. Sure doesn't seem like 60 years have passed since it was taken!

I agree Musiclover. I have always loved this photo of Doris. The bright green border heightens the interest. Doris has always looked so elegant and classic in white.

I believe this Pillow Talk dress is included in the auction items.

Thank you Bryan and Peter.

This banner photo is iconic. It represents the peak of her beauty and what she was capable of as an entertainer. That was a magical time in her career and we are fortunate to still have her films, photos and recordings to remind us.

Thank you all very much! Good job I checked your replies before posting and saw Judy's 'Sure doesn't seem like 60 years have passed' as I'd put 70 years on the new banner! (even though I'd said 60 in my post!)

Thank you for all these beautiful and heartwarming Doris and Rock banner. It it unbelievable that this year is Pillow Talk's 60th anniversary.

After all this time performances in comedies are not valued as much by the Academy as are dramatic performances.

The last comedy performances that won an Academy award that I recall are from over 20 years ago.

Diane Keaton for Annie Hall
Jack Nicholson for Terms of Endearment
for As Good As It Gets
Kevin Kline for A Fish Called Wanda
Helen Hunt for As Good As It Gets

I especially love Doris' quote on her enjoyment in making these comedies. Doris and Rock radiated charisma and joy in these comedies that created lasting happiness for everyone even sixty years later.

It's hard to look at these glorious photos and not yearn for the day when movie stars were really movie stars.

Love all of them but the pink one and the shot of her talking on the phone in the little black dress are particularly memorable.

Thank you, Bryan and Puck.
