I am struck by Doris' eyes in this photo looking a pale green. This photo looks like it may have been taken around the time she was making the film Julie.

I want to wish all the Doris Day Forum members a happy and especially healthy holiday during this Christmas and Hanukkah seasons.



It has been a difficult and sad year with the loss of our inspiring and devoted webmaster Bryan. I hope Jaques will be comforted by treasured memories.

With our world experiencing the Coronavirus that has been a true tragedy of incalculable measure; I hope everyone can focus on the light and hope the vaccine offers that will allow us to regain our social freedom.

I would like to express my true appreciation to Michael for his leadership in helping our treasured Doris Day Forum to continue. Our DD Forum remains a comfort and pleasure to visit.

As 2021 thankfully approaches , may we continue to find joy in the films, music and shared experiences in the gift that is the Doris Day Forum.

Bryan will always be with us, I’m sure he keeping a eye on us, he did care about us, more than we knew.
He was a wonderful, sweet person. It would be different without him.

I hope everyone is healthy and safe this holiday season.

Visiting the forum has become bittersweet for me. The number of active posters has become virtually nil since Bryan passed and I feel his absence each time I check-in. It's nice to read the few new posts that appear but the experience is not the same as before. I remain hopeful that Jacques will be able to obtain legal rights to migrate Doris Day.net and the forum to the British Library at some point in the near future. I'll keep checking with him from time to time and let you know.

Today, I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Bryan for creating the forum and giving the members a safe and respectful place to share their love of Doris Day. His legacy will never be forgotten and my gratitude to him will never end.
