Cypress Inn
Every quarter the city of Carmel-by-the-Sea publishes a list of the top 25 businesses that produced the most sales tax revenue, which ends up in the city's treasury. Learned today that Terry's Lounge at Cypress Inn makes the list consistently. I bet that's a legacy Doris never expected to leave!
Re: Cypress Inn
How nice to get some positive news in the midst of the pandemic, social unrest and economic fallout.
I've worried about Carmel and the single-owned businesses that make that town so unique as well as the many service industry workers who drive in every day from less expensive areas to keep the hotels, restaurants and shops open. Not only is Carmel one of the most scenic places in the world, it has a small town charm that is irresistible. I hope the small business owners can hold on until people feel safe to travel again.
Judy, thanks for sharing this.
