Music - Music - Music ----- Part 2

Unread post by dayniac »

Hi all --
I want to share with you some of Doris' recordings. This is a sampling of records from around the world -- they are her own albums or include her recordings. It's interesting to compare the cover art - I'm not sure why the cover art varied from one country to another.
As I said - this is not a complete collection - just what I have found on the internet. I'm sure there are more !
Hope you enjoy !

Thanks ! It is amazing how many there are --- and there are more out there. And this doesn't include CD's - I can't even imagine how many of those are out there.

Here are some album covers of Terry's recording career.

This is a cover of Terry and Bruce Johnston as the Hotdoggers.

The Hotdoggers !

I didn't know he recorded under the name Terry Day !

I think I read that Doris did some backup singing on this album - does anyone know if that correct ??

Doris did sing background on a song entitled "These Days," and when I say "background" I mean background. You've got to listen closely to really hear those dulcet tones!

Reference for students...

Incredible post of album covers from around the world. Doris must look at all this and be as amazed as we are. So much work over the years.

Thanks for posting.

The important thing about this site is that students can use it as a reference tool. The articles, pictures, reviews, music samples, fan opinions, discussions, observations, first-hand meetings with Doris, etc. very valuable for students who will have assignments on Doris Day, for years to come.

I loved that album. So did my little sister. I would often find it in her room, which caused many fights. I haven't checked my LP collection for a long time. I'm not sure who ended up with it.
