Megan..I am impressed that you had time to listen to all of those with all of the other things you do!
You will have to match YOUR list against John M's list once his book comes out...Then you can do mad searches to find all the ones you might have missed (which I have been doing for 20 years) AND STILL DISCOVERING lost items like "My Sugar is So Refined" and "Baby It's Cold Outside", which I now have in my collection, thanks to this wonderful forum.

Hi, Babe W!

I'm sure after some months this isn't your final list of DD songs (there are some on my list I didn't find on yours) . Before I rejoin to this terrific forum I believed, my collection of Doris songs is almost perfect. Now I know, after looking yours, Marion's and of course Peter's list I miss many songs I've never heard - yet.
I'm so in love with Doris because of everything she made in music and acting, so I would like to have all songs if possible. Would you share some songs with me?
Thank you for your reply, no matter what you'll answer.
Have a wonferful Day!

Do you own all of those songs or have you just heard them?

Megan,
Very impressive. Is there anywhere we can find some chronological list from Doris' first song to the last?....
You see,I only know the ones from the 50's and 60's,but now I bought the early songs.Which starts with" day by day "of course.I now understand why Doris does not like to hear her early period of singing.Later she added her own character to her songs, and I think the version of"sentimental journey" is a good example.
Anyone who can sort of guide me through, thanks.

Dorine
As we journey under our individual umbrella's,we should not forget we all share the same sky.Doris Day

Hi,

didn't you receive an answer till now?
Go to "The music of DD" - DD songs edit 1.11.2008 by Peter Flapper. He is an expert for DD songs, he knows everything about that.

Enjoy his song list, it's amazing.

To PETER AND OTHERS:
MY DORIS DAY SONG COLLECTION IS ALMOST THERE (EXCEPT FOR THOSE STILL RARE "YOUR HIT PARADE" sessions. I have about 900 songs in my actual collection (somewhere either on my computer or in one of my bookcases); I can't always find them immediately, but with 78's, 45's, eps, 10 and 12 inch lps, cassettes, 8 tracks , cds and dvds...I have them somewhere. I am also missing "That's My Desire" from an early Bob Hope Show (I have heard it, but I can't find it, nor can I download it to my Music Player). I have been collecting her music since I was 7 years old. I am now 72. A joyful lifetime experience (and very rewarding). No one sings any better.....no one ever has. Actually, no one even comes close.
