Duets from The Doris Day Show (1952-53)
The Doris Day Animal Foundation is offering a CD featuring 30 duets from The Doris Day Show. Some of the duets have been featured in other releases of The Doris Day Show, but there are others I am not familiar with, such as those with Van Johnson. The Day Time on the Radio CD is now only availabe for State side release, and sells for $25. There are numerous items also availabe including the 90th Birthday Gala DVD, which sells for #35. Enjoy and Happy Days, Texas Gonzalo

Re: Duets from The Doris Day Show (1952-53)
Here is a followup on the my initial post. Please consult The Doris Day Definitive Discography to see my updates surrounding the "Lost Radio Duets" CD. You will note that in Chapter III - The Radio Years, the post for The Doris Day Show (radio) is more complete since it shows data on all the 1952-53 radio shows, the known songs featured and as well as the guests. Also consult Peter's post in the "Talking About Doris Day" section of the Doris Day Forum website, and note the 30 tracks contained in the CD. For your information please be advised that nine of those tracks are now available in the two Zone Records released in 2007. The tracks you can now hear are as follows:
#1 It's Magic #12 Merrily Song #13 Take Me Out To The Ball Game #15 Tea For Two
#17 My Darling, My Darling #18 Around The Corner #25 May Says, Pa Says,
#27 Cuddle Up A Little Closer/Till We Meet Again and #28 Love To Be With You
Happy listening and Happy Days, Texas Gonzalo

Hi all,
For those of you who are interested, on a few sites you can find short sample's of this cd/mp3 album:
https://www.amazon.com/Day-Time-Radio-D ... +the+radio
It's also available on ITunes. I downloaded the complete album there (my cd is in the mail and I couldn't wait longer), it's a great album I think. Great combinations and songs. Some familiar and some not.
Enjoy,
P

Re: Duets from The Doris Day Show (1952-53)
Thanks, Peter. I've been searching for Doris's recording of When I'm Happy and am glad to find it included in a CD available on Amazon called Sentimental Journey with Van Alexander.
