Thanks Howard for posting the song "Take Me In Your Arms." The song you posted appears to be from V-Disc 412(B) recorded on 5 January 1945. Doris Day later recorded this song with Percy Faith which was released by Columbia Records as both a 78 and 45 rpm disc (#39786), with the flip side being her big hit "When I Fall In Love." Thanks again and Happy Days. Texas Gonzalo

Thanks for posting "Easy Street," Howard. It was one of the first songs Les Brown and Doris did after they reunited in the spring of 1944.

Peter, the catalog numbers you show for the World Program Service (WPS) 16" transcriptions appear to be newer reissues of the original WPS discs. Please refer to my notes in The Definitive Doris Day Discography and you will see the original cut numbering WPS used when they first issued the transcriptions in the Spring of 1944. You will then note the sequencing of the recordings. For example "Love Letters" was the first cut (#7239) recorded on the WPS transcriptions featuring Les Brown and Doris Day. Hope this helps, and Happy Days, Texas Gonzalo

Hi Howard,

Again a big Thank You for sharing. The song "I Wish I Knew" is from 1945, Doris preformed it on several shows:
1945 – 07 – 24 One Night Stand 682
1945 – 08 – 16 One Night Stand 716
1945 – 08 – 23 One Night Stand 701
So I can't exactly say from witch show it is.
