I had forgotten how extraordinary and beautiful the songs are in the film Billy Rose’s Jumbo. From the opening of The Circus on Parade, to Doris singing Why Can’t I to the enchanting number The Most Beautiful Girl in The World ; this music and songs are glorious.

I am presently watching the film on TCM and the film captivates with its authenticity and charm. There is great romantic chemistry between Doris Day and Stephen Boyd. Jimmy Durante and Martha Raye delight.

If you haven’t head this soundtrack in a while, It will brighten your day.
