On May 10 - 1964, Carol Haney , dancer, comedienne, died at as he 35.

Carol starred with Doris Day in The Pajama Game. She also starred in Kiss Me Kate, Invitation To The Dance, and Summer Stock.



On May 10- 1977, legendary actress Joan Crawford, died at age 72 or 73. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Mildred Pierce in 1945.

Interesting that Coop and DD died on same date- both so revered as all that is good and great about America.

I loved Rita Hayworth - so sad - she was so young and had suffered so much for many years.
