I saw this marvellous docu last night [made in 2015] and would highly recommend it - what a beautiful talented complicated but very special lady Ingrid comes across as - in marvellous and copious home films/ footage that she constantly took, from her diaries and letters and from her children - none of who appear bitter at their mother's choices - just wishing they had more of her in their lives - I really loved this and again, highly recommend it.
"Using never-before-seen private footage, letters, diaries and interviews with her children, this documentary provides a complex and intimate personal portrait..."
" A rich, generous spirited portrait of a woman who, in her unapologetic pursuit of art, fame and personal growth, was far ahead of her time" - Ann Hornaday, Washington Post.
