I so love HOLIDAY!!! Maybe because Kate's character,Linda,is just like me--fun loving and carefree, but always stands up for what she beleives is right. Have you seen MONKEY BUSINESS,Debbi? I think that one's really funny.

Yes, I've seen Monkey Business. I love Ginger too.

My favorite movies are:

From the sixties: Father Goose and Charade

From the fifties that I have seen: North by Northwest

Fourties: Penny Serenade, My Favorite Wife, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Philadelphia Story, The Bachelor and the Bobbysoxer.

from the thirties that I have seen: Holiday and Awful Truth

I recorded some movies today, so I might have new favorites.

I Like Suspision too, because I know he didn't try to kill her and he is so cute! :D

I was hoping someone would say this

An Affair to Remember is definitely number one with me... :) But I do like That Touch of Mink (obviously) and many of his other ones... his comedic stuff is great.

Way too many to narrow the list to three, but I love all the Hitchcock ones: Suspicion, Notorious, To Catch A Thief and North By Northwest

Also, all the ones with Katharine Hepburn: Bringing Up Baby, Holiday and The Philadelphia Story.

And Arsenic And Old Lace.

And one of most favorite: Charade with the incandescent Audrey Hepburn.

One I really like is The Talk of the Town.
It's different - He's a very different character - but I love Jean Arthur
and they are good together.

Yes, I like Talk of the Town too. I just saw it a couple of months ago. When I originally answered this post, I'd hadn't seen That Touch of Mink , I love that one too.

John M., I think Hitchcock and Cary Grant are a good team.

Cary was really good in Penny Serenade but it was so sad :(

Have you ever seen him in Sylvia Scarlet? I think he steals the picture away from Kate.

Jake,

Isn't 'The Bishop's Wife' a wonderful show? It is right up there [for me] with 'It's a wonderful life' in the magical Christmas films. Loretta Young was a fabulous actress and style icon too [like Miss Day] and aged wonderfully!
