This shot is one for the ages, don't you think?

Is this the same man in the photo? Robert Forster, who made a comeback in "Jackie Brown" and got an Oscar nomination?

How To Post Pictures

Unread post by Ralph »

dayniac wrote:I have about 5,000 pictures of DD on my computer. If I could figure out how to download them to the site I will -- I'm working on it !!
Love all of these pictures !
Thanks -
Toni
I had the same problem as you. Finally, Lauren helped and now I find it simple. If you have the picture on your computer do this. Go to Tiny Pic at http://www.tinypic.com/

From the Tiny Pic site, browse for the pic located on your computer.
Then, upload it. You'll see the upload box right there at Tiny Pic.
After the upload, highlight the upload (cut it) and then go back to the Doris Day site, open the blank message page (the one I'm using now) and PASTE. Then, type your message.
Preview it and you'll see the pic and your message. Then post. You'll get better at it the more you do it.

Posting photos

If you want to post a pic that is already online:

Take the one above from Ralph as an example - put your mouse over the image, select "Properties"
(on Windows it's rightside click) a box will appear, third line down you'll see URL/Address - highlight and copy it.

It is: http://i5.tinypic.com/2itralg.jpg

Then simply paste it here, highlight again and click Img above.

This tells the inbuilt code that you want to link to an image so your final result should have
Image at the end.

Before you post, click Preview to check - if it doesn't work it means you didn't highlight it properly when you clicked Img

And it looks like this:

You can do that to any image online.

Ok - I'm trying this. I get it uploaded on tinypic just fine - when I come back here I don't have the paste option. I feel really dumb ! I've copied and pasted pictures before. Are you right clicking in this message box to paste ? Or going to the edit drop down to paste ??? How do I paste it here ? HELP !

Thanks !

Toni

Now - this is a picture from a magazine - I just think its hilarious because she and the horse are doing the same face. Its the horse she rode in Calamity Jane - she was at the stables becoming friends with the horse.

I'm just going to give you few more pictures --- I really could give you a few hundred. I've been collecting pictures for about 5 years. I said earlier I have 5,000 --- I probably have lots more.

Let me know if I'm putting too many on here.
Enjoy !

Now - this one I love because of her comment ---- I've seen this picture without her autograph and I've always thought the same thing. Where did she get these shoes ???

Not too keen on the shot from "Do Not Disturb" - like the film!

Love the pic from "The Thrill of it All".
