The sweet peas was the only advertisement
I remember seeing as a kid.
I saw it in a seed store.
I wanted to buy it, but I didn't have the money.
I never got to go back and get it.
This is only the second time I've seen it.

Thanks Puck, it brought back great memories.

One more round -- btw I just noticed the mistakes in my second to last
post, the texts were copied and I didn't proof read. Don't know how many
of the following pics are 'new' but here goes [many 'Man who knew' pics,
some 'Midnight lace' costumes and some more]:

Miss Maxwell, thanks for posting the great pics, especially the black braless look [here we go again....] - Doris looks fab!

I love your Avitar too by the way - I think Doris Day never looked better, younger or more beautiful in that camping episode towards the end of season 3.

Jas, that's one of the most glamorous and stylish looks of Doris' that I've ever seen (the dark blue-ish dress). I agree, she looked fantastic in the Father-son weekend episode (and a little Pippi Longstocking as well) and Toby absolutely does just justice (hope this is the expression) as her son. He's beautiful beyond belief and they just look dreamy together, as mother and son - matching outfits and all:

That gaze of his - boy he had an Oscar worthy moment in that scene:

Well, the previous post didn't quite work out, the images are about
800x800 but were mysteriously resized. Here they are, right size on
a different host - previous post also edited with correct images:

I'm repeating myself but - what a wonderful collection, Puck!
[Btw, I saw the pic with Bob Hope and it had a watermark on it - did
you remove it? Fantastic job.]

Great pics Puck!!!

Re- wigs, I think we have discussed this before. Yes, Doris wore wigs, hair pieces etc in her tv show and it is obvious she did in Move over Darling, Caprice & Ballad of Josie & sometimes in Send me no Flowers and With 6 you get eggroll, and she wore a hairpiece in The Man who knew too much & sometimes in Jumbo. Her nicest hairstlyes though were her own natural, thick wonderful hair, look at it it Touch of Mink; Thrill of it all, Pillow Talk, Glass bottom boat, Teacher's Pet, Daisies and Do not Disturb.

Now, I won't have anyone alleging that Doris Martin used wigs/hair pieces...

And I won't have it that Doris could ever behave like a Diva - despite what Jas says!

Hey, Pam, I hope you're leaving enough for me in the will.
I'm getting worried what with all these new people being added.
We'll have to have a "The Cat & The Canary" type reading of the will
at your haunted mansion where a few people might get bumped off!

WOW that was a cool video.... I didn't know Doris ever acted like that though... what I've heard of her, every one always said she was down to earth and did what she was told... maybe not though???
