I love the Pajama Game photo and The Tunnel of Love photo in particular.

The 1959 photo of Doris and her husband Marty on their eighth anniversary is the first photo I have seen of them. kissing.

Doris looks so bright and shiny in all the ROTHS photos.

She does Johnny - and at the start of a fabulous career.

I know Doris said she hated her clothes in WB films and hated how they made her look in Romance - however, respectfully disagree with regard to this film - she looks great and her clothes in Romance were fabulous - ironically my least favourite is the dress she wears singing "It's magic" - however, all other outfits [although of their time] are truly stunning.

I agree about DD's ROTHS outfits. The "It's Magic" gown was really overdone - tacky. But the others were great and fitting for the times. I especially like the gown she wore on the ship as she sang "It's You or No One" - so glamorous!

My favorite is the magazine photo of Doris wearing the striped hood. It is a very different look. She looks very sophisticated.

Johnny - agree about the magazine cover- fabulous and chic.

Howard - agree re- Romance clothes- I particularly love the simple grey suit introducing Georgia Garrett -with the red accessories, and the two trouser outfits worn on the ship.

That Photoplay magazine cover has always been one of my favorites. Love it.

Agree with Howard and Jas about her gowns in ROTHS. Love all of them except the one she wore in the closing scene. Every time I see that gown I think of Jan Morrow's exasperated cry: "tassels!" Way too much going on with that gown.

Peter, thank you for keeping the bounty of rare photos gems coming. Bravo!

Looking at Doris playing tennis and riding a bike reminds me that Doris was very athletic. Perhaps this is one more reason Doris remains so youthful in spirit.

Thanks Peter for these wonderful Doris photos, most of which are new to me. I love the picture of Bob Hope and Doris and the ad for the show.

The Winning Team cast photo is interesting.

Perhaps my favourite photo is Doris with Terry and the pumpkin. It is so sweet. Terry will have been gone for 14 years on November 4th. I hope only warm memories like this photo have given comfort to Doris.

I have always loved the Lullaby of Broadway photo of Doris in a tuxedo. She is so charismatic.
Doris looks so sweet in the girl guide uniform.
Doris looks stunning in the white Pillow Talk gown as she dances with Nick Adams.
Doris looks sexy in her Jane costume in Move Over Darling photo.

It is an interesting group of Doris photos reminding us of the varied characters she played in her films while always looking charming and gorgeous.

Of all the photos Doris in her Midnight Lace costume looks beautiful even while her character is terrified. Doris and John Gavin look so attractive together. This is my favourite Doris costume with the white Pillow Talk gown in second place. Any woman could wear these timeless classic outfits today and look fantastic.
