I have posted 3 news photos of Doris at Shutterfly today, 9/27/09. The 3 photos were taken at the Dorchester Hotel in London, England, 1973. Doris looks exceptionally nice in the photos. The gentleman in the photos is not known but someone on this list will probably know who he is and can tell me and I'll make note of it.

The British fans have always been incredibly loyal to Doris and she has expressed her appreciation to them many times during her long career.

Lauren, I have no idea why I know this, but that is Norman Bamford, a fan from Bolton (the town next to where I live).

Great photos! Doris looks stunning. I always liked her hair that bit longer. Thanks for sharing with us!

Yes, Lauren, thanks for the plethora of wonderful pics!

In the last one from 1973 - Doris looks as young as she did during the Les Brown days! Yes, the man is Norman Bamford - a great D Day fan of long standing.
