Love this banner. That scene where she sings "Blame My Absent Minded Heart" is pure gold! The best part of that not-so-hot film.
Like Irene Dunne done.

I love the banner too. I enjoy watching the movie on TV. The color is great. I enjoy the scene on the train when Doris sings Blame My Absent Minded Heart. It was an entertaining movie.

Sorry Bryan I just took mine down, and posted the Trailer for this movie, it does have a little bit of her singing the same song in it on the train. "Blame My Absent Minded Heart" Not much, but you can see other small clips of the movie. As usual she was proving to be a great actress.

Howard & Ken, you both mentioned, "Blame My Absent Minded Heart" I found this version on YouTube. Denis Morgan sings most of it but it makes Doris sound all the sweeter when she joins in. :) :

Fantasy moment: wouldn't it be wonderful to watch all of Doris' early films in a huge theatre with her? 8)
Okay, they are not all great art, but they are entertaining (isn't that why people go to the cinema in the first place and why she's been the top box office star of all time?) - and they've got Doris in them! The more I think about it the more I feel that they are a bit neglected. :( People just want to think about Doris and Rock and great as they were, it's nice to think about her other films sometimes.

Something like that anyway!

Thinking about "April in Paris" now - we'll have to do that at some stage!

Barbara - I took too long to post this as I was looking on YouTube so I missed your post - looks like we're on the same wavelength anyway! :)

I agree with Daisy. She is adjusting a nob on the large radio on the train. No cigarette there, but she did smoke in couple of those old movies, as I recall.

Doris could be an angel there - with a sense of humour. :) She almost glows.

Done but not being used as banner - must be the black hair that put me off! Although it's interesting.
