RIP Rod Taylor- another one gone - very sad. Loved him in Glass Bottom Boat in particular. I remember Doris saying in some interview or other - probably given in the 1980s / 1990s - that she had been watching him recently [at that time] in a TV show and didn't recognise him at all until whoever she was watching the show with commented - she laughed about this.

Sorry to hear about Rod Taylor. Thought he and Doris had good chemistry in "The Glass Bottom Boat." Not so much in "Do Not Disturb." May he rest in peace. Here's a quote that was attributed to him:

“She’s a doll in every sense of the word. Terrific to work with. And somehow, with us hitting it off in real life, we really ‘jelled’ on the screen, too. I was surprised when I saw the first rushes. It was there! Our chemistry worked! And we both came through just great. After that, I just couldn’t wait to get to work each day.”
Like Irene Dunne done.
