Thanks so much for the great pictures.

I am really surprised that there is a Doris Day Originals jewelry line by Napier. I have never heard or read anything about it. I wonder how many pieces were produced with Doris' name. I also would be interested in seeing more pieces with Doris wearing them. Did she wear this jewelry in any of her films?
I did read in Doris' book Her Own Story, that Doris liked understated jewelry favouring aqua marine stones and disliked large diamonds she considered vulgar.
In Doris' films it is evident that the classic jewelry she wore always complimented her costumes and never overshadowed them.

Johnny, there are photos of several different DD Napier pieces online. The line was apparently first produced in 1955. None of the pieces is identified with a specific film.

Notice how Irene [in Lover Come Back in particular] would put a statement ring or piece of jewellery with one of her fabulous outfits- usually in the same colour, very effective.

This is a fine bunch of photos, Peter. Re: the one from ROTHS with William Blakewell in the travel agency --
Blakewell later had an uncredited part in "Lucky Me" as the owner of the car that Bob Cummings was "trying" to repair.
