This music is a true delight that takes the listener to a place in history where the peace in our world was under threat. The period demanded much from men going to war to women working in factories. This music captured that spirit and gave great comfort and hope. The 42 songs on The Complete Doris Day With Les Brown is a wonderful and wistful journey.
