Doris looks fashionably elegant in this Winning Team photo.
I wish The Winning Team would have been filmed in colour. It would have added more interest.
Thank you Peter.

Re: 2018 Doris Day pictures
Hi Johnny,
I think it would've been a better watchable film if it was in colour. But for me the Baseball parts are too long, but that could be mostly because I'm not familiar with the rules of the game.

1951 Doris Day

1954 Doris Day

1954 Young At Heart - Dorothy Malone, Doris Day, Elisabeth Fraser & Robert Keith

1959 It Happened To Jane/That Jane From Maine - Steve Forrest, Doris Day & Jack Lemmon

1959 It Happened To Jane/That Jane From Maine - Jack Lemmon & Doris Day

1959 It Happened To Jane/That Jane From Maine - Jack Lemmon & Doris Day

1964 Do Not Disturb - Rod Taylor, Doris Day a.o.

1971 The Doris Day Show promo - Doris Day
Enjoy,
P

Thank you Peter for the 1951 to 1971 Doris photos. She looks like she has gotten younger in the twenty year period.
I love the photos of Doris and Jack Lemon.
I had forgotten about the photo of Rod Taylor, it is hilarious.
Great memories!

Great photos as always, Peter. Love the one from The Winning Team and where's she's standing on her own from 1954 (Young at Heart?).
Here's one I found on Pinterest:

Bryan, I don't use Pinterest -- but I love that photo (from about 1946 -- 1948, I would guess). This one is new to me.
Re: 2018 Doris Day pictures
Thanks Bryan for the great Pinterest photo of Doris from the 1940's. It is new to me. Doris looks so elegant.
I saw all the Doris banners on the Pinterest link and it was a beautiful trip down memory lane. It was so thoughtful of you to share this holiday treat. Thank you again Bryan!

The photo directly above looks to me like an outtake from the original "Greatest Hits" photo session. I think the colors on the blouse have been altered.
Like Irene Dunne done.

Re: 2018 Doris Day pictures
Hi Peter,
I am really enjoying all these great Doris Day photos. I am sorry the fantastic DD hat pictures disappeared.
A special thank you to you for the really interesting San Francisco photos; they are new to me
I love the photo of Doris in pink going to the Cagney AFI Tribute. I like Doris in classic solid colours. We rarely see her in patterned clothing. Her style can be described as simple classic. She wears the clothes, the clothes don't wear her.

Peter, you've done it again with these latest postings of photos. Bravo!
Re: 2018 Doris Day pictures
Agree, great photos all.

Re: 2018 Doris Day pictures
Bravo!
Peter, you've come up with another round of rare and fascinating photos.
I am particularly fond of the one with Norman Jewison directing Doris and James Garner on The Thrill Of It All set. I've never seen that Doris Day Show promo shot either. I liked her hair that way - pulled back off her face with a long bob. Most becoming.
Thank you,
Michael
